Acrylics and sand/carving medium to create stone texture and form. Gold and copper foil in stone and foreground to create a lovely shimmer in the sand when light catches in a certain way. This rock formation that looks similar to a foot is found at the edge of the cliffs nearest to the sea and the gap of many years of erosion by the sea created interest for me.. I love the way weather or the sea can carve such interesting sculptures within the rocks and cliffs of this beautiful beach. I love how the colurs are very warm in the sand emerging to greens and torquoises of sea to blues of the sky. This painting is not framed yet.
