Originally from Edinburgh, Emma resides in Glin, West Limerick, on the scenic ‘Shannon Estuary Way’, with her husband and two boys. Emma was awarded ‘The Vice Convenor’s’art award’ at 17 years and pursued her dreams of studying art in Dundee obtaining a BDes (Hons) in Illustration and Printmaking. Also qualified in art education (P.G.D.E. with an overall distinction) and a P.g (Dip.) in Multimedia Technologies.
Various career paths and family commitments meant art was on a backburner for 20 years. It was through teaching art to others that Emma realised this was missing in her own life and returned to eventually take the plunge as a working artist. Living her dream job. She also works part time as a Therapy Assistant.
